VISIT TO GAUDÍ'S CASA BATLLÓ

Antoni Gaudí's Casa Batlló, designed in 1904, is a wonderful example of an urban home that strategically incorporates natural light into every room. I had the opportunity to tour this incredible home in November 2018. Here are a few of my favorite shots!

Patio of Lights

Gaudí designed two skylights, one on either side of the central elevator and stairwell, to provide natural light to all of the interior rooms. In order to keep the amount of light consistent on each floor, he used darker tiles and smaller windows at the top and lighter tiles and larger windows further down.
